Legal Education/GED “Get Back on Track 2012″” Event

On Saturday, February 18th, The 313 Project joined Educating U-4Life in hosting “Getting Back on Track 2012: Lunch & Legal Education Workshop,” a community event featuring key speaker State Representative Harvey Santana. The workshop was held at the Don Bosco Center in Detroit. Attorneys discussed legal barriers to educational and career success, including family law, domestic violence, immigration, civil law, and landlord/tenant issues. Educating U-4Life is a nonprofit organization offering adult literacy and education courses, as well as tutoring and mentorship to students all ages.
