Motion to Makeover: Belle Isle

The November 2011 “Motion to Makeover” service event brought 313 Project volunteers to Belle Isle, the largest island city park in the United States. In collaboration with The Friends of Belle Isle, over 50 volunteers cut invasive plant growth on the island’s east side, allowing for new growth and planting next spring.
